Fr. Nicholas Lionas
Fr. Nicholas Lionas was born and raised in Rochester, Michigan. After much involvement in his chapter OCF, he graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication in 2009. Upon graduation he began work for OCF at its national office. He continued to work for OCF intermittently until 2013 when he graduated from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology with a Masters in Divinity. Nick began work with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America as its Young Adult Ministries Coordinator. Continuing to specialize in young adult ministry, in 2014, he moved back to the Detroit area and became Pastoral Assistant at St. John in Sterling Heights, followed by being the Youth and Young Adult Director at Assumption in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. He was ordained to the holy priesthood in 2021 and currently serves as the Assistant to Metropolitan Nicholas of Detroit.
